A course that makes your data much more communicative
Very often a journalist needs data to describe a phenomenon, a trend, a change, but in many cases simple lists of data are not easily readable. Taking into consideration the context, mapping helps to visualize and analyze data, making the information much more communicative.
Theoretical and practical training course
The course aims to offer a first approach to data visualization techniques by creating thematic maps, using smart mapping techniques.
It includes a theoretical introduction and a large practical part in which participants are guided to the use of ArcGIS Online platform that belong to ESRI, the world leader in the development of GIS platforms. The course includes the use of computers for exploring the platforms and the main features for creating maps.
