From April 30 to May 2 at InterContinental Geneva Hotel will be held the GIS for a Sustainable World Conference. Co-hosted by UNITAR’s Operational Satellite Application Programme (UNOSAT), and Esri, the event explores how Esri’s ArcGIS platform empowers the international community to achieve the global goals.
This year’s focus is on the collaborating for a better world
The conference promote social accountability values like peer collaboration and global issues. GIS technology can be used to achieve important targets such as building a better world by ending poverty, inequality, climate change, improving health, and more.

The Conference offers plenary talks, networking & expo break, technical workshops, thematic panel sessions. Besides, during dedicated talks, Esri’s user community will have the opportunity to express their ideas on the advantages to use GIS Tech.

At the Conference take the opportunity to meet the team of gisAction. The italian brand will be there to answer questions about GIS solutions that allow to support the world of the Development Cooperation in dealing geographically with issues related to sustainable development.
During the event it will be possible to deepen the elements of the collaboration between gisAction and COSPE that aims to define resilient practices to mitigate the effects of drought in Eswatini and Mozambique.
